Attorney James Weiler primarily focuses his practice on litigating employment law matters including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. Mr. Weiler also has significant experience handling a wide variety of litigation matters in the areas of Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Construction, Product Liability, General Liability/Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice and Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Weiler has successfully represented clients in matters involving serious damages with significant potential trial awards. As a result of his diverse legal experience, Mr. Weiler has gained unique insights into both the Plaintiff and Defense sides of litigation. Mr. Weiler utilizes this unique perspective to obtain the best possible results for his clients. Mr. Weiler advises clients on all of the available strategies to effectively resolve matters through targeted discovery, aggressive motion practice and identifying leverage points to effectuate favorable settlements. Mr. Weiler’s experience encompasses all aspects of litigation including alternate dispute resolution, case strategy, depositions, hearings, trials and appeals.
Mr. Weiler has also served as in-house counsel for a subsidiary of a publicly traded Fortune 1000 company. Mr. Weiler was responsible for managing their litigation portfolio, managing commercial transactions, conducting internal investigations, advising on credit and collection matters, advising on a wide array of compliance matters, and addressing numerous other business matters that would arise.
